How To Explain Upgrade Item To A Five-Year-Old

item upgrades  and Components

An upgrade item is an item that will make certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade is obtained by spinning a photo disc. It's sometimes given as a prize in Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools in order to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be placed into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer bonus effects or attributes when the equipment is used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment with an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a specific level. Certain upgrade items come with special effects that can be seen when they are used. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, bought by Karma merchants, or traded with other players via the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.

There are different upgrade components, each with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions can be used with any kind of equipment, and offer lower bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions are able to be used on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, and enrichments can be utilized on certain back equipment that has been ascended. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are slotted into an item, but doing so destroys the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be used into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and replaced.

Insignias and enchantments will show their names on the item's hover display, while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their name to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. for example, a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components that have been added to an item will be visible in the tooltip of the item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to add and view these unique characters, along with standard symbols such as em and en dashes as being trademark symbols registered to be used.

Each Glyph gives a character boost in primary stats. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats which will alter the radius of your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied when other bonuses have been applied in addition to Speed Glyphs which directly increase the hero's speed.

Selecting  item upgrade  and then clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you have that can be applied to the selected item. Be aware that only the correct kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item, as each weapon, jewelry or armor piece may have a different set of available Glyphs.

Glyphs can be upgraded by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more challenging the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience that you will earn. Once a Glyph has reached level 15 it is able to be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

When a Glyph is at the desired level you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide its stated bonus and will also boost all the other nodes within its range on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be placed where they will benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonuses in the event that certain conditions are fulfilled.

Click the cycle widget to alter the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option under "Entire Font". For example, punctuation only displays punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the options to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a method in which you create a new account to give yourself more chances to play a character or weapon that you are interested in. This can be done to aid in your progress to higher levels or to obtain better loot, like a better weapon for your current character. Many players reroll until they get the characters they like, regardless of their power. It could be because they like the design or personality of the character.

When you reroll, you have be sure that the changes you're making are clear. This means that you must verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks and conduct a core development test. You should also upload the patch to an issue with plain diff (see What's the deal with an interdiff? ).

Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on the luck you have. During this period, you should avoid optional enemy camps to save time. You should also avoid re-doing quests that you can complete later in the game. This will save you time and energy.

When rerolling, it is important to be aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's appearance and power. This could include upgrading your weapons, rerolling your characters and purchasing upgrades. It is also important to be aware of the limitations of the system.

Rerolling isn't a mandatory aspect of the game, however it can be beneficial to increase your chances of getting an item or character. You can use it to determine the best character or to experiment with different playstyles and builds.

Sets

A set is a collection of objects with common-2 attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or the members of the class). Sets are used for operations such as union, intersection and distinction.

Upgrades make a set item better than before. This means that armor and weapons will have a greater defense value and less strength requirements.

Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets to parity with items in higher-tier sets. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.

However it's important to keep in mind that not all set items are candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield, a spec's item or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and see frequent use (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their performance even more. For these types of items, it may be worth the extra expense to upp them.
